Referrals

The vast majority of my clients come to me by way of referral from other lawyers. I appreciate the confidence shown by referral council and nothing makes me happier than paying a referral fee to referring lawyers. In recent years two michigan lawyers received referral fees on individual cases of $1,000,000 or more. Another Macomb County lawyer received a referral fee of $850,000.

The settlements in these cases are examples of the results that can be obtained only after years of experience and the willingness, on occasion, to take a meritorious case to a jury. Insurance companies respect lawyers who have demonstrated an ability to obtain verdicts that are many times larger than the pretrial settlement offers.

I have always trusted juries over insurance companies to assess the value of a loss of life or the impact of a disability on a fellow human being.
